Decor India-inspirit adore, this time features, ethnic and traditional decor of India . Indian traditional decor has deeply rooted rich cultural folklore and is greatly influenced by its heritage branching from the different parts of the country i.e. from Southern to Northern , Western to Eastern . Even British era has also left its imprints in form of Colonial decor.
Carved furniture, antique doors and windows, Damachiya chest , bright colours, traditional wall murals, paintings, carved or painted pillars, tiled floors, brass handicrafts, family heirlooms, artefacts, silk cushions, traditional textiles with block printing, bandhini work , zardozi and chikan kari, low seating's, uruli , poster /canopy beds etc. are some of the key elements of Indian decor that beautifully tell tales of diversities in craft, art and culture from different parts while displaying the versatility and mastery of Indian craftsman.
It wasn’t easy for me to put together such a diversified cultural decor but I have tried to showcase here beautiful interiors that are infused with Indian stately traditional craftsmanship and very essential elements of traditional and ethnic decor with the complete flavour of India.
